Australia bowler Steve O’Keefe bagged six wickets to script India’s worst collapse in the past two decades. From 95 for three to 105 all out, Australian spinners O’Keefe and Nathan Lyon ripped through Indian batting line-up in about 40 minutes to take seven wickets and leave them in a complete devastating situation.
Happen to bat on a broken, exhausted looking track on day two, India didn’t start well either, as they lost three wickets by lunch. Just when KL Rahul and Ajinkya Rahane were looking to get their feet jammed, the spin attack did the business for the visitors.
Looking at the records, this is India’s worst ever fall down in history. Last time they lost seven wickets in a hurry, the managed 18 runs in Christchurch in 1989-90.
Indian team collapsed just after lunch, this is what happens when you don't keep fast on #MahaShivaratri #IndvAus— Virender Sehwag (@VirenderSehweg) February 24, 2017
